Do you believe the world could use a little more magic? The folks at Keebler, the people behind the Keebler Elves and their many, delicious cookies, sure do.
They’ve created The Tiny Door Project, reminiscent of the little door that opens to reveal the Keebler Elves, hard at work, creating cookie magic. Now, tiny doors are appearing on trees across the country. Even if you don’t live near a tiny door, you can still experience the magic. You can make one of your own or follow along on Twitter or their Tumblr page to see how the magic is spreading.
So, what’s the catch? Nothing, it seems! Keebler, of course, is enjoying some positive buzz but this is a case of marketing done for the joy of marketing without being tied to the bottom line. A great case study in corporations understanding the need to relate to people in mediums other than advertisements.
