RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Working with the Senior Associate Director, implement objectives and workflow strategies for keeping the Business School and constituent websites up to date and refreshed, ensuring that all content is effectively incorporated across websites around the School.
2. Working with constituent stakeholders, provide assistance performing routine maintenance duties, including content revision and updates.
3. Create and prepare editorial graphics for electronic publication; build web pages using HTML and Drupal 7 (the School’s content management system).
4. Perform regular audits of site content for timeliness, accuracy, style, and branding. Assist constituent stakeholders to implement revisions, as necessary.
5. Perform regular audits of social media sites for timeliness and frequency. Alert Marketing and Communications to interesting stories that might be promoted on the School’s homepage.
6. Train users of different technical abilities on use of Drupal 7. Create and maintain training documentation and best-practice web documents.
7. Write very brief summaries of articles, stories, and profiles for publication.
8. Act as liaison between stakeholders and Information Technology Group, Marketing and Communications and/or outside vendors to resolve editorial or technical problems as the situation requires.
9. Oversee deployment of dynamic feeds to ensure sites receive appropriate content and to alert responsible parties of interruptions or problems.
10. Alert Marketing and Communications to interesting content on constituent sites that might be promoted on the School’s homepage.
11. Perform related special projects as necessary.
