Remember the dancing baby that took the world by storm? Mid-90’s, I think. Anyway, it appears that it’s still around.
It’s my birthday and I got an e-card from a friend. Not someecards.com through Facebook. Not a Tweet. But an email, with a link to an online card, sendabirthdaycard.com or some such thing.
Anyway, it featured this dancing baby thing with a happy birthday song playing over it. Which got me thinking, besides being a cultural phenomenon of the 1990’s, the dancing baby apparently has staying power. So, what lessons can you learn from this to apply to your next marketing and recruiting plan?
Make it fun. Make it simple. Make it creative. Make it different from what people have seen before.
Not saying those things are easy, I’m just sayin’…keep them in mind the next time you’re bogged down in a brainstorming session. Couldn’t hurt.
