Seton Hill University is the first (or, at least the first that I’ve seen) to give all its students – each and every one – an iPad.
Their goal is to “provide students with the best in technology and collaborative learning tools, ensuring that Seton Hill students will be uniquely
suited to whatever careers they choose – even those that have not yet
been created.” Full story here: http://www.setonhill.edu/ipad/
Sounds great! However, there is the fear that this very-cool-highly-advanced-technology will be used more to watch episodes of “Kell on Earth” rather than to check notes from study group. But, this is the future, right? Should other schools follow the Seton Hill example?
