Detergent Brand Trying to Pull Off the Biggest Scam Since Bottled Water

I don’t often turn to Gawker.com for the latest insight into the world of marketing and advertising but, this time, I have to admit they make a good point.

Wisk has launched a new ad campaign telling us that we need to buy Wisk because it gets out invisible stains. As in, the stains we can’t see. As in, wait, whaaaa?

Don’t get me wrong – they get points for trying to make consumers feel inferior if they don’t purchase their product…and doing so in such an interesting way. But, c’mon guys, really?
